Vacancy: Head of Strategy & Corporate Development
The Head of Strategy & Corporate Development plays a central role at VodafoneZiggo, leading the development of the company’s strategy, mid-term plan, and budget in close alignment with Finance. This includes defining KPIs, driving decisions, and initiating corrective actions to ensure strategic goals are met.
The role addresses the most critical strategic challenges and high-impact topics by collaborating closely with the CEO, CFO, the full Senior Leadership team, and shareholders Liberty Global and Vodafone Group. By supporting the team in conducting in-depth analyses and translating insights into compelling, fact-based, concise narratives, the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development brings structure and clarity to complex issues. In doing so, they help align internal stakeholders, strengthen cross-functional relationships, and manage escalations effectively. In addition, managing corporate development activities – including the evaluation of potential acquisition targets – is an integral part of the role and is carried out in close collaboration with the M&A teams of both shareholders.
As part of the Strategy & Partnership team, the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development reports directly to Bo Budé – former Associate Partner at Bain & Company, and now member of the Senior Leadership team. The team is a tightknit group of sharp, driven professionals who take pride in delivering outstanding results together. With six direct reports, this role combines valuable learning opportunities with the freedom and responsibility to take real ownership.
