Be the evangelist for the Brachy Solutions Business Line towards the regional commercial organization driving getting the share or mind for brachy. Lead product (hardware, software, services) marketing and commercialization activities for the products of the business line. Ensure that the regions can execute the agreed commercial plans of the business line by providing excellent guidance and support to the regional commercial organization.
What You’ll Do At Elekta
The VP and Head of Marketing and Sales Brachytherapy responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for the global commercial performance of the business line’s products:
Create the handshake with the regional commercial organization on the Brachy Solutions expected commercial performance per region
Develop and maintain a strategic marketing plan for the respective products that capture market assessment, objectives and activity plan in close collaboration with regional marketing
Monitor funnel/order/margin performance with regional marketing and adjust strategic plan/approach when needed
Develop value proposition and messaging based on customer needs and market environment which differentiates Elekta’s offering in the marketplace, incl. identifying and driving proof point generation in close collaboration with Product Management
Overall positioning and pricing and bundling strategy of the products in the portfolio (in relation to each other) and tailored to different markets
Develop competitive positioning incl. product comparison and objection handling with Product Management
Translate positioning and value proposition to communication that can be used to create sales enablement tools such as case studies, website copy, campaigns and events (incl clinical marketing component)
Train regional marketing and sales (specialists) in conjunction with in-bound product management
Provide input from a market and marketing perspective to Product Creation process and Service development process as it relates to key features, areas/functionality needed for differentiation etc.
Facilitate (and drive) deal escalation process
Facilitate (and drive) regular sales, order and margin calls
Management:
Lead the effective utilization of resources deployed across the organizational line
Line management responsibility for direct reports, incl target setting, coaching and performance management
Outline, update and control the organizational line expense budgets
Member of the Business Line Management Team.

What You’ll Bring
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required
A Master’s degree and/or MBA is preferred
Significant senior management experience in an international marketing and/or sales role
Preferably operated in a global leadership role
Demonstrated track record as a senior manager preferably in the medical device industry
Sufficient understanding of the market, products and clinical usage of the business lines’ products
Availability for international travel ~40%
