Experienced Java (Kotlin) developer
- Gross Salary: €5700 - €7000, based on experience and expertise
- Hours per week: 36 to 40
- Contract duration: 1 year, with an option to extend for 6 months
- Location: Utrecht - Hybrid; partly on-site, partly remote
Description
Our client is looking for several experienced Java/Spring Boot developers to join a dynamic development team working within a complex financial environment. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure software solutions. The projects focus on modernizing existing systems and developing new applications using modern technologies and agile methodologies.
As a developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps engineers, testers, and business analysts. You are expected to take ownership, contribute to architectural decisions, and help improve development processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL
- At least 3 years of experience working with YAML
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- At least 2 years of experience in the financial sector
Nice to have
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Kotlin
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
