We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to continue our growth journey and to build a sustainable profitable business. This role is for an individual with experience in controlling and/or international fast-paced environment and scalable projects. You will play a critical role in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization where your contribution will make a visible daily impact. You can make a difference! Our Senior Business Controller is essential to the group finance team and reports to our Head of Finance and you will supervise and coach the Junior Business Controller. You will take end to end responsibility for the forecasting and planning process, including our budget- and latest estimate cycle. You play an important role in the month-end close and are able to tell the story behind the numbers and report out to the business. Also you will lead the monthly regional business reviews. You will work closely with the management team as a business partner and support them with information and business cases. You will be important in making decisions to drive business performance.

How you pedal us forward

You will be end-to-end responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis;
You will responsible for adequate monthly reporting;
You will provide finance business partnership to MT members on strategic matters and support them in realizing financial objectives including monthly business reviews;
You will support in the review of country strategy and performance and pro-active analysis on trends and group/region initiatives (mainly revenue driven);
You will pro-actively challenge the group performance and initiate improvement/close the gap negotiations and optimizes strategic performance;
You will initiate and evaluate business cases;
You will participate in key projects including proceeding AI/ BI implementation, KPI dashboarding etc.

The gear you need

Our ideal candidate will be somebody that has been a business controller before or has experience of working within consultancy firms. Next to that, you bring:

Knowledge and the ability to work in the dynamics of a PAAS sector and scale-up environment;
Strong analytical skills – you can quickly interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights;
Strategic thinking – you see the bigger picture and connect finance to the overall company strategy;
Business acumen – you understand how different departments operate and what drives performance across the business;
Good communication skills – you can clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making;
Proactive mindset – you take initiative, anticipate challenges, and propose improvements before they become issues;
Strong stakeholder management – you are comfortable advising and challenging senior leadership with confidence and tact;
Experience with BI tools (Tableau) – to build dashboards and provide clear data visualizations;
Affinity with automation and digital tools – experience with SAP S4/HANA and Lucanet is a big plus;
