Who are we
At PixelPool, we’re creating Dtail (https://www.dtail.com) as a sustainable alternative for critical parts of the fashion industry's workflow. Dtail is a 3D, cloud-based platform that is used by top fashion brands around the world to design, plan, present and sell collections using 3D samples and virtual environments. We are building this platform using the latest web- and 3D technology - Unreal Engine 5 and C++ for our Dtail Spaces application
PixelPool is headquartered in the Hague and with offices in Bulgaria and the United States. Besides designing and developing Dtail, PixelPool provides 3D content production services to the fashion industry.
What role are we recruiting for?
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to join our team and help us scale and secure our multi-tenant SaaS cloud infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our AWS-based environment, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across all components.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate and maintain a secure, scalable AWS organization supporting multiple environments and tenants.
- Monitor performance and availability of our SaaS cloud infrastructure.
- Keep cloud components (e.g., databases, storage, compute) secure and up to date.
- Recommend and implement improvements to architecture, performance, and security.
- Maintain and enhance the security posture of our AWS organization and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Job requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, especially:
- DynamoDB
- OpenSearch
- S3
- Familiarity with:
- SQS
- EventBridge
- Lambda
- Experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) using TypeScript.
- Proven experience operating an AWS Organization for a multi-environment, multi-tenant SaaS offering.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and performance monitoring.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus).
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., ECS, EKS, Docker).
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in AWS.
