What you’ll be doing
We’re looking for a Financial Controller who will take full responsibility for the accounting of the SUE Group.
You’ll report directly to the Manager Finance & Control and collaborate closely with the finance team. As a financial business partner, you’ll also support colleagues from sales, procurement, and project delivery. You’ll play a key role in steering the financial administration in the right direction together with a small, dedicated team and with short communication lines across the company.
We manage our entire finance function in-house. You will handle the full financial administration of the SUE Group and its subsidiaries. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing financial and project accounting
Preparing consolidated monthly and year-end closings
Creating consolidated financial reports
Preparing annual accounts
Optimizing the purchase-to-pay and sales-to-invoice processes
Supporting M&A activities
In short: a broad, hands-on role where you and your team are responsible for the entire financial operation.
Who you are
You’re someone who brings several years of hands-on experience in finance, ideally from a financial department, or as a (senior) assistant accountant in a public accounting or audit firm. Most importantly, you’re ready for your next career move, eager to take on more responsibility, and fully committed to making an impact.
Skills & Knowledge
A completed HBO or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
A proactive and independent working style, while also being a real team player
Native Dutch speaking; good command of the English language is a plus.

The Finance team is a small but expanding team, consisting of our CFO and another Financial controller.
