For our own projects, we are looking for: Offshore Facilities Commissioning Manager.
MISSION:
Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and coordination of commissioning operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while achieving project milestones.
TASKS:
Commissioning Leadership & Execution:
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies and procedures for offshore facilities.
- Lead commissioning activities from pre-commissioning to handover, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from construction to commissioning and startup.
- Ensure that all commissioning activities comply with HSE regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Prepare commissioning schedules, work packs, and execution plans in collaboration with project teams.
- Define commissioning resources and manage the mobilization of personnel and equipment.
- Ensure timely identification and resolution of technical and operational issues affecting commissioning progress.
- Provide technical guidance and oversee commissioning checklists, test procedures, and performance verification processes.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and coordination.
- Facilitate commissioning meetings and progress reviews, providing updates to project stakeholders.
HSE & Quality Assurance:
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards during commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and project-specific safety protocols.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards during commissioning activities.
Performance & Handover:
- Monitor commissioning progress against project milestones and KPIs.
- Ensure proper documentation of commissioning results, including punch lists and performance reports.
- Oversee final handover of offshore facilities to operations teams and ensure a smooth startup.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in offshore commissioning within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of offshore facility systems, subsea equipment, and process operations.
- Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of offshore Oil & Gas installations.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (API, ASME, IEC, ISO, etc.).
- Proficiency in commissioning software and project management tools.
- Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
OTHER DETAILS:
- Job Location: Doha office, Qatar. Short missions will be required at the Karimun Yard (Indonesia) and Offshore in Qatar.
- Contract Duration: 3 years.
- Starting Date: ASAP.
